I LOVE the Fourth of July - and I love it more when it's on a weekend instead of a random Tuesday. None of our towns have a fireworks display on the Fourth but there's a sweet viewing party in Arlington and some happening in nearby towns. But, that doesn't mean the Fourth has to be any less fun. Here are some great ways to celebrate!
Saturday, July 4: Fourth of July at Robbins Farm Park
If you want to enjoy a view of the fireworks while picnicking and listening to live music, I highly recommend this low-key, family-friendly event in Arlington.
Saturday, July 4: Beer Garden at Jason Russell House
The Beer Garden at Jason Russell House is another awesome, low-key event for families. It's happening every Saturday and it always looks like a good time. So, if you're staying local this weekend, this one should be on your radar.
Saturday, July 4: Community Picnic on the Common
My favorite thing about the 4th is spending it with family and friends - and growing up, our community did the Fourth in a big way. You ran into everyone from school or sports. Burlington's fun picnic is back this year, so if you want to get out and see your neighbors, this is the place to do it!
